ALTEK® 5/15 is used as top coat for roofing felts and as an adhesive.
It guarantees the manufacture of waterproofing membranes with the following characteristics:

ALTEK® ECO²B: a low temperature PMB for the waterproofing industry
ALTEK® ECO²B was especially developed to replace blown bitumen and meet market demand for hot melt coatings.
ALTEK® ECO²B is mostly used for bonding:
- Insulating material
- Waterproofing membranes
- Cellular glass
By using ALTEK® ECO²B additivated straight run bitumen, you get access to:
- Application temperature of 160°C +/- 10°C: 40° to 70°C lower than blown asphalt
- Cost reduction resulting from reduced temperatures, providing substantial savings in energy consumption
- Better bonding with superior tear and adhesion performance than blown bitumen
- Excellent storage stability
